HARTFORD – A symposium and luncheon titled Sparkling herbs! Shrubaganza! will be Friday, July 29 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Pond House in  Elizabeth Park.
 Stephanie Cohen, known as the “perennial diva” and author of award-winning gardening books, will give an illustrated talk on the most gorgeous herbs, including new varieties and another talk on the best shrubs to make your garden better for less work.
The event, hosted by the Connecticut Unit of the Herb Society of America, will include an herbal luncheon, boutique, herb plants, luscious raffle baskets, books, herb garden tour and more.
