The meeting of the National Herb Garden committee on 11-20-08 began with a tour of the herb garden. The morning was brisk, but pleasant.
The 2007 APGA Annual Conference, Defining Your Garden's Culture was held in Washington, D.C. The conference was hosted by the Smithsonian Institution and the U.S. Botanic Garden. A reception was held at the National Arboretum on June 26th. The NHG Committee arranged for herbal hors d'oervres to be server within the National Herb Garden . On October 12th before the quarterly meeting of the Herb Garden Committee we visited the garden at the residence of the Ambassador of Great Britain. The Head Gardener, Jim Adams, is the former curator of the Herb Garden at the National Arboretum. Images of the Visit.
